Once CanadianBurger cruise is completed we won’t have another great source of centralized information. Thanks so much. For right now I think the new "Sun Princess" thread is holding its own. Thank you @WonderMan3. Two new threads have been started that has helped; "Sun Princess Staterooms & Categories, started by our Host and "Sun Princess Sanctuary Discussion", started by CanadianBurger. Also, a big thank you to @dides for keeping things rolling. Another shout out to @CanadianBurger and @niftrip for their live threads. Hopefully as other folks start their adventurers on the Sun, we will continue to get updates and reports in this thread. I hope our favorite moderator @Host CJSKIDS can keep the original pinned at the top for a while. This will allow new Princess cruisers to see what went into building the Sun Princess. Let's see what happens and maybe we won't have to unlock the original. There is the "Star Princess" thread we can start adding to as well. WonderMan3 Posted March 15 Author #129 Share Posted March 15 Sky Suite video tour. Unfortunately they don't show the balcony. From Debbie I. Not keen on the shower curtains in the bathrooms, but I guess it's necessary to make it disabled accessible? Sun Princess Sky Suite.mp4

The video I grabbed this still from made the lounge look really, really nice with fantastic views when out to sea. It was a reel though so I wasn't able to download and share it here. We frequently eat dinner in Reserve Class and skip dessert. We sometimes go to the show and then go back to the dining room and get dessert later in the evening. 3
Cdude Posted March 16 #144 Share Posted March 16 Anyone with an upcoming sailing, I suggest packing light clothes for onboard. This ship is very warm. We left the casino early because it was just too damn hot. It’s nice opening our balcony door and getting cool, fresh air. I would pay extra for a balcony for that reason alone. 4

Pyrite_Gold Posted March 16 #149 Share Posted March 16 On the cirrent sailing and I'll just share a couple of negatives that I've noted. 1. The laundry situation is abysmal as there's only two sets of washers/dryers per floor. Might improve once Princess starts charging for them though. 2. The ship does tend to run really warm. It's not a make-or-break but something worth noting if you yourself also tend to run warm. 3. The Eatery just doesn't seem to be running as smoothly as it should. Lots of bottle-necking. 4. This is a less generalised complaint, but Alfredo's did not leave me impressed. Took over an hour for our 2 pizzas to arrive (not eating there at a busy time), waiter blamed "a glitch" but then when they were finally ready, he tried to give me the wrong pizza, no one else was affected by said glitch, and he kept forgetting to bring me my drink. I'm usually pretty patient but that was just poor service. 2
Pyrite_Gold Posted March 16 #150 Share Posted March 16 And now the main positives: 1. The standard deluxe balcony is lovely! Very comfortable and spacious feeling. Plenty of charging ports. 2. The piazza is a nice little hub. Cruise Director Corrine can be spotted there most nights hosting some form of fun entertainment show. 3. The majority of the staff have been outstanding! Truly helpful and friendly. As this is my first cruise overall, I don't really know what's standard and what isn't so I won't bore you all with the things I find fascinating because it might be old news to you by now 😅 8
