CarolRoy Posted March 30 #1 Share Posted March 30 Looking into doing the day pass for the British Colonial in Nassau. Has anyone been there since it re-opened. How was it? How much was a day pass? Did you book directly with the hotel? Any info would be appreciated.
Megan_Strick Posted April 8 #2 Share Posted April 8 I didn't know they re-opened. We went a few years ago and enjoyed it.
mjkacmom Posted April 9 #3 Share Posted April 9 I think it’s expensive for what you get, $100 for beach and pool access (paid $15 for this pass 15+ years ago). Plus it’s walking distance, minus it’s a harbor beach, same beach as Junkanoo for free (but no pool).
N41EF Posted April 28 #4 Share Posted April 28 Margaretaville Is next door to it, and their beach pass is also right at $100 and included slides and lazy river. The Colonial looked open in April but didn't look busy. We checked in December and the Colonial wasn't open then.
pcvtmom Posted July 22 #5 Share Posted July 22 The Day Pass at British Colonial Hilton isn't $100, it's $60. https://www.resortpass.com/hotels/british-colonial-hotel On this site, it's a little more ($66) https://www.bahamasdaypass.com/british-colonial-nassau/

CM1984 Posted August 31 #7 Share Posted August 31 (edited) I am stepping in here because we are looking at Resort for a Day options. We are thinking about booking the BRITISH COLONIAL NASSAU day pass. @CarolRoy did you spend the day there? If so, how was it. Price of $66.00 is good for us. We don't plan on drinking/eating that much to warrant $60 more each for some other Resorts. We just want to find a place that we can enjoy, relax in the water and just be on the beach! We are not sun people so will be using the umbrellas! I feel like the other options are too expensive for what we will be using at the restort. Feedback is very much appreciate. Thank you! mjkacmom Posted August 31 #8 Share Posted August 31 We did the Hilton years ago when it was only $15, it was just ok. We did the Sheraton/melia back when it was $25 and liked it much more. Our favorite was RIU all inclusive when it was $100, the food was really good, drinks free, and it was our favorite beach over cable beach and Junkanoo/hilton.

We were going to go there but decided to pass when the price recently increased.
Rare SUESEABE Posted September 1 #10 Share Posted September 1 Wow, from the looks of these prices we may not get a day pass, just stay on the ship.

We're on Carnival Celebration right now and dock in Nassau tomorrow. We decided to just stay on the ship. Especially since we've been to this port before.
