Rare Pushpit Posted May 24 #28 Share Posted May 24 Yes, Lakeland is a well known Irish / Northern Irish co-operative, and those sachets are fairly good quality UHT liquid milk. You won't get Brits adapting to powdered milk very easily! You can see them in the photos above. The Devondale carton is also liquid. Milk is also readily available via the buffet restaurants, the steward and room service, usually it's UHT in all cases, the buffet restaurants also have UHT half-and-half. You can also bring your own fresh or filtered milk on board and keep it in the fridge.

Also, we had no problem getting coffee made with lactose free milk in the Commodore Club and Carinthia on QE. BklynBoy8 Posted May 24 #30 Share Posted May 24 We order Milk or Half & Half from Room Service with our first breakfast in the cabin/suite. We keep the Silver Pitcher in our refrig in the cabin/suite for future use and it keeps for quite long time for future use. Silver pitcher keeps it very cold for anytime use with those in room use. 2
Wonky Posted May 24 #31 Share Posted May 24 I saw on another site that coffee/ hot chocolate was being charged for in the Grills Lounge on QA. Surely this can’t be true?

Surely this can’t be true? Not in our experience over the last two weeks although most of our coffee was taken after dinner in the restaurant or on the sun [ a relatively misnamed area there if ever there was one on Annie's second cruise] deck.
Yoshikitty Posted May 25 #33 Share Posted May 25 Is the cappuccino in the main dining room still without additional cost? The last time we were on the QM2 was a few years ago, not sure if things have been changed.

Yes it is without extra cost in the Britannia restaurants, but it does come from that machine in the photo above. Elsewhere it is made using Espresso machines and is chargeable (apart from Grill lounges).
