beshears Posted June 17 #153 Share Posted June 17 I am looking forward to reading/seeing with pictures your Caribbean cruise, as that is one of the ships we are thinking of doing, or possibly the Enchanted, which you are reviewing now. I so enjoyed you talking about the Regal, as the 8 of us just got off that ship in February, and had great time.

Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted June 17 Author #155 Share Posted June 17 On the top of the bridge is this walkway .The suite that we looked at was available but you can't open your balcony door when the ship is moving and people are going in and out whenever it's open so little privacy .
Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted June 18 Author #156 Share Posted June 18 The Promenade is one of our favorite features of the CB both for walking and viewing . But it has a rather odd arrangement at the Bow where there is a set of stairs to ascend or descend to complete the round trip . Half way up , between decks The view is Titanic like at the Bow only much closer to the water and the view of the bridge was good at sunrise/sunset . It's closed at night to those who respect signs .
Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted June 18 Author #157 Share Posted June 18 The Bow split on the CB This photo of looking aft from the bow is a stitch of 2 different photos fused together becoming 1 photo . Thus you see the walkers coming and going . The calm Caribbean reflection of the bow and clouds in the sky Flying fish on a flat day

beshears Posted June 18 #159 Share Posted June 18 I am enjoying reading and seeing your many pictures, and enjoyed seeing the Puffin birds, as I had never heard of them before. You also mentioned cellulitis, and I hope you got it under control, as I had NO clue what it was, but I sure found out the hard way, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, and wound up in the hospital 5 different times. I do see the doctor tomorrow and ask if that would be necessary before we go . Our daughter is a nurse at the local hospital and I would rather go here than to have to do it later , perhaps on vacation . Do you remember what treatment was required for you ? Perhaps it may help him to decide .

Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted June 19 Author #167 Share Posted June 19 We fear that this cruise may be in jeopardy . After 3 weeks , 3 oral antibiotics and 4 doctor visits , nothing has changed with my leg . We will see the doctor today at 11 am and we may need a hospital stay with stronger IV antibiotics . This is as live as it gets .
