Californian Posted June 3 #1 Share Posted June 3 We are going on a 7 day cruise out of San Pedro to the Mexican Riviera on Princess. No air travel involved. We forgot to buy the Princess Vacation Protection when we first booked to get the pre-existing condition waiver. However, we are thinking of purchasing it soon or near final payment. We do not plan to go on any excursions like ziplining, snorkeling, and such and may just stay on the ship. Do you think the PVP will be sufficient? Rare CDNPolar Posted June 3 #2 Share Posted June 3 If you have pre-existing conditions that could come into play while you are travelling and buying the PVP will not give you that, I personally would suggest finding an insurance company that will cover your pre-existings. AeroArcher Posted June 6 #3 Share Posted June 6 Ahoy there! Your cruise adventure sounds like a delightful escape! While the Princess Vacation Protection (PVP) certainly offers peace of mind, especially with the pre-existing condition waiver, it's wise to consider your specific needs and activities planned. Since you're opting out of excursions and planning to stay onboard, the PVP might suffice for your situation. However, it's always a good idea to carefully review the policy details to ensure it aligns perfectly with your travel plans. Bon voyage and may your cruise be filled with endless relaxation and memorable moments! ⚓️🛳️
