Carnival website won’t let me add prepaid Gratutites

Trying to add prepaid Gratutites (it’s after final payment) and cruise is in 2 weeks.

 

I can click on the people in our party to add the gratuities and it gives me a sum total 

 

But when I click “Pay Now”, it jumps back to the same page and doesn’t get to the payment page

 

Anyone else experiencing this or have ideas to solve this?

 My experience has been unless I add them when booking, I can’t add them online later.  The option just isn’t there.  But I believe you can call to add them.  EM

Try clearing your cache or maybe using another browser. The website is constantly having glitches. Maybe try again later. I've done it before, just can't remember how close to cruise day it was

My brother who is on same cruise added it no problem

Tried all these things as well as trying on multiple devices and still nothing

If you have a PVP, they should be able to help.

You don't need to add pre-paid gratuities.  Carnival will add them at the end of your cruise.  That's how I do it now... one less thing to worry about.

Pretty sure if you booked with a TA, they will have to add it for you. That's probably your issue.

Booking with a TA has not prevented me from adding the gratuities after booking.  I have done it several times, though always well before final payment.   So I don't think that's the OP's issue.

 

To the OP, I have never encountered the issue you are having.  All I can suggest is to keep trying, phone Carnival in order to pay, or simply wait for the gratuities to be charged to your onboard account.

Thanks for all the feedback.  I gave up trying to do this on Carnival website so I called the TA and got them added that way.
