ccheng6401 Posted June 10 #1 Share Posted June 10 It seems like email is the only way to reach Voyagers Club customer service but they don't respond to my email. It been 5 days and there is absolutely no response. I booked a cruise and I got the Voyagers Club number. However, I made a mistake of reversing my first name and last name when I created an online account. Now I can't add the Voyagers Club number or my booking number to my online account because the name doesn't match. I called the customer service but they said I have to email. Até Posted June 10 #4 Share Posted June 10 It sometimes takes MSC several days, or months, to correct these types of issues. Since you don't have any Voyagers history to lose, if you have an alternate email that your willing to use you can just create another online account (with the correct name) and use that new online account to link the booking and Voyagers numbers. Each time involved missing points for a just completed cruise. Had to contact them by email as you stated above. For each occurrence I received a reply within 48 hours, and for each occurrence the problem was resolved. ccheng6401 Posted June 11 Author #8 Share Posted June 11 Voyagers Club customer service finally responded and resolved the issue. I am just glad I am not departing right away. It is bad they don't offer phone customer service to help people who need timely help with Voyagers Club related issues. dasi11 Posted June 12 #9 Share Posted June 12 My husband just did the same thing 15 minutes ago. He was setting up his account since we log in for check in tomorrow. We called and were told it would take 5+ days to correct it. Or we could just set up with a new email address. If you mean, can you use onboard credit to pay for specialty restaurants, yes you can. Generally, anything that would be charged to your onboard account can use onboard credit. I have no points for onboard spending on the Seashore in May, even though I spent way more this time around than I did on last year's cruise on the Seaside (onboard credit only) but it's not reflected in my account. I didn't have any onboard credit this year so I paid for everything with a card. I'm wondering if using onboard credit was why it counted last year. I'm going back and forth with MSC on it and wanted to know if I should give up trying if it doesn't count. There's no need for another thread if I can just get a yes or no answer. Notice the category of on-board shopping is missing from this year's cruise. I didn't really spend much last year but got 500 points for on-board shopping.
