In Room Liqour?

Recommended Posts

I kind of remember reading somewhere that they’re getting rid of the ability to order a bottle of liquor to the room from the online shops before the cruise? I looked and I didn’t see any for purchase. But I was hoping to order a bottle of champagne to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday which is the day before the cruise leaves. I didn’t see that for sale either. Are we still allowed to bring one? I was going to do it as a surprise, but obviously brining one would kind of ruin that.
Sorry if this has been covered already, I don’t do the best at keeping up with all of carnival’s changes.

Champagne is not liquor. You should see champagne (or sparkling wine) for sale in the fun shops.

Champagne (or sparkling wine) is wine. You are allowed to bring on 1 bottle of wine per adult.

In-room liquor is only available for purchase for cruises of 7 nights or more.

Thanks, that makes sense why I didn’t see the liqour for sale. This is a 4 night, I haven’t done less than 7 nights in years.

Ok, I am seeing the champagne for sale! If I order that will they also provide glasses? Or do I need to go to the bar to get them?

If they don't provide glasses with the order, you can either go up to any bar or call room service for an ice bucket/glasses. No charge but a small tip is customary for the service.
