Malaga hotels

Please let me know if you stayed at a hotel in Malaga which you would recommend.

 

When you arrived via plane were taxis and Uber both available into town?

We've never stayed in Malaga, but for this crossing we have booked the Palacio Solecio. Our logic, right or wrong, was that it is late October and we don't want to stay at the beach but at the center of the city.  I'd also be interested in knowing about the availability of taxis.
