Canada/New England- how rough have the seas been lately ?

Good day all, hoping that someone who has been on this cruise recently can provide some feedback on how rough ( or calm) the water has been ? I recognize this won't directly translate into what our experience may be next week, just curious as to what its been like lately

My wife and I were on the September 7 - 14 cruise and the seas were very calm.  One day you could feel the ship a bit, but we remarked to each other that this has been the smoothest cruise we ever been on. Hopefully yours will be the same.

Right now is the time for the NE/Canada cruise with the best weather we've had in this part of the country maybe all summer.

Bring Bonine or Dramamine just in case. But this September 28 will be our fourth New England cruise and we’ve never had rough seas. We missed Halifax once because the captain avoided a hurricane by rushing to Boston from Saint John and once we skipped a port and returned to Brooklyn a day early. People went on excursions into Manhattan . The casino was closed but the bars were open and free. They have a lot of flexibility and maneuverability. We are all going to have the best time ever!

We sailed August 24 to 31 on this itinerary and literally no motion whatsoever.  We commented that it was like being in a hotel instead of a cruise ship.

It’s like playing the slots. Because you lose doesn’t mean you’ll soon win . Or because you win it doesn’t mean anything either. The captain tries his/her utmost to avoid rocky seas but **** happens.

We just did the 9 day Canada and New England cruise on Liberty of the Seas and had smooth seas and good weather the whole trip.

The problem with this cruise is if there is a storm that the Captain cannot use a different course much to avoid a storm.  Usually a good storm a month and occasionally the remains of a hu=icane move through.

Have seen flat seas and also 50mph with 12' seas near Quebec City.

We just got off the Quebec City to Boston on the Emerald. Never felt any movement at all.
