When you board the Meraviglia can you drop your luggage in the cabin after you embark the ship.

I haven't been on the Meraviglia specifically, but I have been on two MSC cruises so far, and both of them allowed and even encouraged us to drop our bags off in our room. We just couldn’t stay in the room, just a drop and go.

When you board the Meraviglia, you will need to go to your stateroom to get your keycard(s) off your cabin door. At that time, you can pop into your room to drop your things, but your room likely will not be ready, so you must quickly vacate it and go elsewhere.

This was our experience also.

If you drop your bags off in your cabin before it is ready, don't leave any valuables in it.  If the cabin is still being serviced, the doors may be propped open allowing anyone to enter.
