Departure Date of Ray TA March 2026 Moved Up 10 Days

Received an e-mail from SS that our TA cruise departure date has been moved up 10 days, departing now on March 10.  They wanted us to confirm if we were still interested in going.  Luckily, it still fits our schedule.  Any idea of why the date was moved up?  SS seems to be cancelling and adjusting a lot of cruises/dates.

Yep. They've released the program early to draw in the custom then planned it properly. Strange way to do things.

This screws up our friends trip and they are now looking to cancel. What a mess.

Same for the Spirit TA Mar '26, moved up from 23rd to 2nd. The original date had disembarkation on Easter weekend which is not a great time to travel so the new date is much better for me - I'm actually very pleased.

Silversea has “adjusted” the schedule.  As I was doing the prior Caribbean cruise, the new date still suits.  You have also seen my thread, so perhaps we will meet on board and enjoy a drink and a moan together!  
 

My TA has today received an email from SS asking if I am interested in the new prior leg, which is a 14 night Caribbean cruise starting in San Juan.  I said I am if it is a direct swap with the cancelled 14 night cruise!  That is, same suite, same price.  Basically, my original cruise just 10 days earlier and a different departure port.  I await their response.
