mtnesterz Posted November 30 #2 Posted November 30 Our go-to hotel in SF is the Royal Pacific on Broadway, north end of Chinatown. It's an older place, but kept clean. Ask for a room not facing Broadway, due to street noise. No restaurant at the hotel, but the neighborhood food is awesome. It is further from the pier than I think most would want to walk. FWIW.

oakridger Posted November 30 #7 Posted November 30 Helping out @CruiserBruce...😁 What is your budget? It makes a big difference! If you can be very specific with questions it helps all the fine Cruise Critic folks narrow down the appropriate suggestions. These threads below cover most of the usual suspects! 1
Solara Posted November 30 Author #9 Posted November 30 Thanks for the links. Now I have questions. I want a nice hotel & don’t mind paying more. I’d like to be walking distance from all the touristy things by fisherman’s wharf & closer to the pier. These are some choices. 1. Hotel Zoe 2. Kimpton 3. Riu Plaza Which are more centrally located as to wharf & pier? Like having a bar in hotel to relax & snack. Feel free to suggest any more specific hotels.
