Oceanbabyblue Posted April 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2006 Does anyone know how many formal nights, semi-formal nights are on this April 23, 06 Transatlantic cruise? Thanks very much.
PeaSea8ch Posted April 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2006 Oceanbabyblue, I have not done a Legend eastbound crossing but I have done the last 4 Legend westbound crossings so my estimate should be accurate. There will be 3 formal nights, 4 casual nights (the first and last nights, the night you are in port and the night of the deck BBQ and Rock The Boat show on deck) and 5 elegant casual nights on your 12 night crossing. All of this is at the discretion of the CD. The general information section of the SB brochure defines the dress requirements and acceptable alternatives. Bon Voyage and have a fantastic crossing! :) :)
CruisinMatt Posted April 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2006 Just a note, I am right now on the 12 day Lisbon-Lisbon and there are 3 black tie nights. I was expecting only 2 - not a problem, I love dressing up!!!! :D
Hobar Posted April 2, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2006 personally, I am intrigued by Seabourn's new "clothing optional" dinners. what will those wacky folks in Miami think of next?
CeeJay11 Posted April 3, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 3, 2006 We were on this eastbound Transatlantic crossing last year - and there were 3 formal nights, only 3 casual (1st night, last night, and "Rock the Boat" night) and all the rest were Elegant Casual. We have found that on the crossing the men tend to dress more formally than the other cruises - I guess they have more time to dress up :)
