Molly BPOE Posted April 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2006 I tried to search the boards for the answer to this quesion, but could not find anything, so here goes....Can you inform Carnival ahaed of time that you would like the twin beds converted to a king? It would be nice to have that done before we get to our stateroom.
S.S.Oceanlover Posted April 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2006 I don't think so. Sometimes they are separated sometimes they are together when you get on. If they are apart we move them ourselves. The beds are light and slide very easily.:) Bill

crbnsoul Posted April 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Molly I'm not aware that you can request this ahead of time. I have always had our king together when we arrived. If they are not, do as Bill suggested and push them together yourself or make a quick phone call and I'm sure someone will be there within just a few minutes. Have a great cruise. chip
Snoozeman Posted April 6, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Most of the time they are already together. Just let your steward know how you want them on the first day. have a great cruise:)

If you booked through a TA, talk to them and they will either call Carnival for you or go into their computer and check the right option under type of bedding. I am guessing that you are a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. My dad was a PER and member until he died and I was Lodge Secretary and National Foundation chairman for years. gfsmith Posted April 6, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Yes you can. You most certainly can. If they are not together then leave a message for the steward and they most likly will be together when he/she turns your bed down that evening. shipty2 Posted April 6, 2006 #9 Share Posted April 6, 2006 My PVP asked me what my preference was for the bed configuration. First time though.
bucket_O_beer4john Posted April 6, 2006 #10 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Some of the cabins on the Victory (and I imagine every ship) are queens. We're in one of those. Take a look at the deck plan on Carnivals site.

Thanks Jcanino. After having taken 8 CCL cruises I wasn't aware of that. Learn something new every day.:) Bill
EJ'S MOM-MOM Posted April 6, 2006 #13 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Molly, per 1 of my great teachers, "there are no stupid questions only stupid people that are too ignorant to ask them because they think they know it all" That being said my TA said you can request the beds be anyway you want them.
