Carry-on bags

We leave on the 22nd of April and I am beginning to think about packing. Just one question before I start--how many bags can you carry on per person? :confused:

Are you talking about carry-ons for the ship or air plane. We have always had 2 each which is what the air lines allow, but I have seen people with more than that checking in at the pier.

You can take as many as you like on the ship. They must fit throught the ship X-ray/scanner machine (similar to those at the airport).

 

Most airlines allow two(2) carry-ons--one suitcase, duffelbag, etc. and one "personal item" such as a purse, laptop, briefcase. I don't think most airlines allow two suitcase type carry-ons for any one passenger.

When we sailed out of Miami a couple weeks ago, there was a sign that described the maximum size for carry-on luggage. I believe it was about 20" x 16" x 10". Pretty much what the airlines consider as acceptable carry-on.

Your bags have to go through a scanner, but you can carry as many of them as you wish. Just remember that your cabin may not be ready, so if you board before 1:30 or so, you'll have to schelp your bags around with you until then.
