Smart Casual just a myth???

Recommended Posts

We just returned Fri. night from our 11 day Brilliance of the Seas cruise. I was very suprised to see so many men in Sports Jackets for Smart Casual nights. It was the most we've seen on any of our cruises. It may just depend on the cruise whether you will see many jackets. We wear Casual on Smart Casual nights.

We were on this cruise in February and there were two formal nights and two smart casual nights."

Don Pedro...Which cruise were you referring to in the above posting?

We were on the February 13th sailing and were surprised at the number of people who dressed for the smart casual nights. Perhaps, it was because it was a longer cruise and also because they knew the ship had smart casual.

We agree with the other posters, that it would be nice if there was some consistency between the ships. We are leaving on the Rhapsody next Sunday and understand they don't observe smart casual.
