zydecocruiser Posted May 6, 2006 #27 Share Posted May 6, 2006 Totally not to be rude, but if it removes polish and paint, is it really safe for your skin?!;) Must be. Whenever I get checked for skin cancer a) there is none b) they tell me my skin is in incredible shape for my age
HRKC Posted May 6, 2006 Author #28 Share Posted May 6, 2006 For Phoenix Jun 102°F 75°F 89°F Jul 104°F 81°F 93°F Aug 102°F 80°F 91°F I look forward to Mayan ruins to cool off. An insulated hydration pack, filled with ice and then water will provide ice water all day. And what is the humidity in Phoenix during those months? zydecocruiser Posted May 6, 2006 #29 Share Posted May 6, 2006 Not sure what the numbers are, but monsoon season generally begins in July. July and August are two of the "rainy" months. Having been born and raised in New Orleans, where it isn't the heat but the stupidity, I'm equally at home in humid climates.
haskil99 Posted May 8, 2006 #30 Share Posted May 8, 2006 You have fair skin? Your'e gonna fry at the ruins. I am from florida and could not believe the heat factor at the ruins in april. Go to the beach and plan on seeing the ruins in winter.
zydecocruiser Posted May 8, 2006 #31 Share Posted May 8, 2006 Should not be an issue for anyone properly prepared which includes hat, sunscreen and water. If needed or desired, an umbrella shields one from both rain and sun.
