Any one use Aberdeen Excursions in Halifax?

I was wondering if anyone has used Aberdeen -- a company that specializes in excursions in Halifax, Nova Scotia?

 

They have a Whale Watching Cruise that looks like it would be great.

We took their "London Cab" tour last year and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would use them again if I wanted to do a tour in Halifax.. Their booth is in a mall area that is about a 10-15 min walk along the waterfront

Hey Dee,

 

I had been e-mailing Aberdeen back and forth for a while, then I called them and they said they were no longer offering excursions short enough for people coming off of ships. They refered me to

They are the company that does many of the RCCL excursions -- no one has answered me as to why whale watching isn't one of those that RCCL does through them, but the company itself seems decent enough.

Bonnie, look for my post under whale watch on another form here. I posted a long one about what happened to us in Halifax. It's just not the best place to whale watch.

Diane,

After reading your post on whale watching -- sea sickness and the like -- we decided to go to Peggy's Cove instead. We weren't concerned about not seeing anything, but we figured any ship movement that was strong enough to make so many people ill would scare our children.

 

Thank you for the heads up -- and thanks to others on this board who suggested Peggy's Cove. This should be a great trip!
