Hotel in Nice, France

We're leaving on a Windstar cruise in October and need a hotel in Nice for the night before. We should be in Nice around 2:00pm and will have the next day to sightsee before the cruise leaves at 5:00pm. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

You may want to post this on the Europe Board...here is the link,but I ma also putting in the link for Venere that you can check out for hotels as well..pretty good for Europe. I have not stayed in Nice,but there are quite a few nice hotels.
