We have 2 inside joining cabins and paid 1510:) . Is this a good rate or could I have got better?
Ms_Pammy Posted June 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2006 I have been watching prices for the Inspriation also for September, and have not found that rate for 5 of us....me dh, & 3 kids. So Yes I think you got a great rate!:) Rates for 5 of us has been about $1100 more that what you got. DId you get connecting cabins? Becasue I was told there are non on the Inspriation and hoping that information is wrong. Thanks poverman@tampabay.rr.com
dodge9 Posted June 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2006 First off just an FYI... there are NO connecting/adjoining cabins on Inspiration, you can be next door but they won't connect. It seems like a good deal, but hard to tell, don't know the date or if you are able to take advantage of any discounts, past gues, senior, resident rates, etc. Have fun though, souunds like a great family trip!!! serene56 Posted June 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Is that a military rate?? A note: be aware that Sept is hurricane season and there will not be many kids onboard. Camp will still be opened and might be mixed together with other ages.
I&MsMom Posted June 6, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2006 That works out to about $50/pp/day. On a land based trip, could you even feed everyone for that? Breakfast, lunch, multi-course dinner, snacks (pizza, ice cream, fruit), etc., etc. Never mind hotel rooms, entertainment, babysitting, transportation to and between GC and Cozumel...Sounds like a good deal to me! Enjoy your cruise!
waterbound Posted June 6, 2006 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2006 I think thats a good deal.. but I know there are other things to take into consideration.. In past we cruised on a 5 day cruise and there were 7 of us so we had 2 cabins and I think we paid a total of around $2100 and I thought that was a good deal.. so comparing the 2, Id say yes.. St.Love Posted June 6, 2006 Author #8 Share Posted June 6, 2006 :D thanks I feel good now. It's a military rate. My TA told me it was a very good deal but then again they probably tell everyone that, lol That's ok about the non joining rooms, just as long as they are beside each other :)
