scgirlie Posted June 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2006 We are going on the Mariner in July. When do they start boarding? We are trying to find out what time we should book our shuttle.
Hobiecat01 Posted June 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2006 We got to the terminal around 11:00 AM boarded immediately. But... they won't let you in to your cabin until about 1:00 PM. So get onboard, hit the Windjammer for lunch and hang out by the pools until 1:00 PM. We were on the Mariner last April. It is one our most favorite ships. ENJOY your cruise! mrgabriel Posted June 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2006 You will get a package from Royal Caribbean - either electronically or in the mail - that will give you details on when to board, what you can bring, what documents you need, etc. Or you can also go to Royal Caribbean's website and check out the information they provide there. You will love Mariner!!!
kittyg Posted June 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2006 You will get a package from Royal Caribbean - either electronically or in the mail - that will give you details on when to board But doesn't everything written just say 2:00pm? If I hadn't been reading these boards, I would have thought that was firm. Luckily I knew you could get there 3 hours earlier.

Most of the time, ( in 18 cruises we have always been able to board by noon or sooner) the only reason you may not be able to board early is if Customs has not cleared the ship yet which is rare. Hey! Jude Posted June 9, 2006 #10 Share Posted June 9, 2006 Seems no matter when we fly we always end up at the pier late in the day. We have gone ahead only to have the shuttle bus take us at 4pm from the hotel - not sure what happened there. Another time they made us wait at the hotel b/c the ship was late getting back to port due to weather. The other times we just flew same day and end up in time for dinner. Lucky for us the last few cruises have left at 10:00pm!! :D
