MaryPoppinz Posted June 11, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2006 I make darn good chili, but I have this oh-so-nutty policy when I'm on a cruise: I don't cook. I've really never heard of this!
gvre Posted June 11, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2006 We were on the Sun last week. They did set up a special lunch by the pool and served homemade Reindeer Chili. We had 3 bowl's, with onions and cheese. Hmmmm...good:D
wdblake Posted June 11, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted June 11, 2006 The homemade Reindeer Chili was what I was thinking of. What day did they serve it poolside? I guess since you had three bowls it must have been really good.

gvre Posted June 11, 2006 #7 Share Posted June 11, 2006 It was the at sea day Thursday. I talked to the head chef about the reindeer they use. It comes from Canada and is frozen. Every thing else is fresh. They also add some ground round to the mix. They have sour dough bread to eat with it, along with clam chowder soup. It was great.
