psheik Posted June 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2004 We've packed some wine and liquor in our suitcases. It is wrapped securely with bubble wrap. Should we have any problems?

LARGIN Posted June 30, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2004 You shouldn't but I would place each bottle in a ziplock bag just in case.. Red wine might be very hard to get off your clothes.. :)
Lynda90 Posted June 30, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 30, 2004 I certainly agree with Larkin. If that red wine leaked it could ruin your whole trip. Of course if you are in a full suite, you could have everything washed or dry cleaned for free. I've never had a problem with anyone taking oout anything I've packed in my luggage and I always have one bottle of liquor packed. Lynda

LovingFL Posted June 30, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 30, 2004 You really don't need to put it in your suitcase. I take it on in my carry-on. Never had any problems. One time I took a whole case of beer right on with me. No one cared at all.
coiran Posted June 30, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2004 Do not take liquor in your carryon - they may pass it - they may not - put it in your checked luggage packed in bubble wrap and in a Ziploc bag. If you drink the higher end liquors it is just as cheap to buy it on board for your cabin. Ron
