O2BKate Posted July 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2006 We are sailing in September with a stop in Puntarenas, Costa Rica and at first glance at the HAL website, the Pacific Aerial Tramway is one of the shore excursions. We selected this one because the description says it isn't as physically taxing as the other one available. My mom can't walk long distances and uses a transport chair as a means of speedy conveyance to and from our destinations. When we get onto the website to actually book this excursion, it isn't available for online booking, not is it when we call. So, now we aren't sure if it is available through the cruiseline at all. This seems very surprising since it seems like a great excursion. Has anyone taken this excursion before? My questions include whether or not this particular excursion would be available on your own, can we get the wheelchair close enough to the gondolas so that Mom doesn't have to walk too far, how many people the gondola holds, and if there is a total weight limit per gondola? Any help would be appreciated. Cruisin' Kate
