ksmcali Posted April 23, 2011 #1126 Share Posted April 23, 2011 Is that your little girl in the picture? LOL! No, although I do wish I could teach her to be as still as that statue sometimes! She's 3 yo!

Alan M Posted September 10, 2012 #1129 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Took this as we were sailing away from Dubrovnik on the Carnival Breeze, August 2012. No filters, no post processing or enhancements. Just my Nikon D5000 at 200mm zoom, f/11, 1/2000, ISO
Jeff 240 LTS Posted September 10, 2012 #1130 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Are you sure about this? Costa Maya is on the east coast of Mexico, and the sun sets in the west (at least it has in the past). So there is no way the ship could leave Costa Maya and head into the sunset. That's a great line!! :D:D:D ...and I think it still does... Cruizer, That is one beautiful photo!!!! .
Sutho Posted September 11, 2012 #1131 Share Posted September 11, 2012 Here are some from July on Aurora off the coast of Finland heading to St. Petersburg. I took them with an EOS 60D with EF17-40mm f/4L lens with EX580 II flash.
Jeff 240 LTS Posted September 11, 2012 #1132 Share Posted September 11, 2012 That background actually looks fake it looks so good. Also, that is a great example of fill flash to show how beautiful she is. Sometimes people will get in to much of a hurry to get the shot or get their photo taken that the photo is almost a wasted shot. Take a few seconds to set the shot up so it has a chance to be a memorable one. .
Sutho Posted September 11, 2012 #1133 Share Posted September 11, 2012 In our case we had time for lots of photos we started about 9:47pm and finished at 10:26pm and the sun had still not set. Allot of white nights up there that close to the Arctic Circle.

Jeff 240 LTS Posted September 11, 2012 #1135 Share Posted September 11, 2012 Sutho, How did you load such large photos? Thanks, Jeff .
Sutho Posted September 12, 2012 #1136 Share Posted September 12, 2012 Sutho,How did you load such large photos? Thanks, Jeff . I didnt want them that large but I used the photos on my facebook page and right clicked the photo getting the URL and pasting it. Its not the best way because facebook degrades quality. Flikr only allows small captions to be copied.
