Dates of Spring Break for 2007

Recommended Posts

Spring break generally runs from mid-March to the end of April! Each school district and state have totally different schedules. Around the Easter weekend on either side are particularly busy travel times. Sorry-it's hard to be more specific!

they vary so it is very hard to say. I'm in graduate school and my spring break there is March 12-16. I also teach and my district spring break isn't until April. I know here in NJ the public schools vary as to which week kids are off. So really any time in March or April, I would guess. Depends on whether you want to stay away from the college crowd or the little ones.

What i do is check the school district website whatever county you are in check that school board website. Here in Florida the spring break for public school is 2007March 26-March 30.In 2008 it is March 31-April 4.

Private school for 2006 April 5-April 16.sorry dont have 2008 .

Hope this helps with your planning in regards to airfare and how busy will be in Florida at those times.

Thanks, I don't know how I double posted. The dates I was looking at were early March the 2nd and 3rd and March 17th. The first week may not be spring break.

Rates to Ft Lauderdale are much higher than to Miami.

Hi, Cruzingduo. The airfares into Miami are often cheaper (it is a hub), but it really depends where you're coming from or going to. DH and I check both airports when making our travel arrangements. March and April will always be the most expensive airfare to Florida. Spring Break here in Broward County (Ft. Lauderdale) is early April this year. GOOD LUCK!
