Venice disembarkation - ship to airport?

My apologies if this has been answered numerous times, but I couldn't find an answer through the search function.

 

We are disembarking the Grand Princess in Venice on 8/20. What are our options to go directly to the airport? And how long should we allow? I read there is some issue with the water taxis now, so I'm not sure how that changes things. We're looking for the hassle-free approach - one vehicle, whatever it is, and as quick and direct as possible. Thanks in advance for your help!

My understanding is that the water taxi problem is going from the airport. I do not believe that there are problems going from the ship to the airport.

 

However, there was a posting on the Europe thread today of significant problems with transportation going from the ship in Militima (?) port in Venice.

You don't have to get a water taxi or water bus, you could also take a land taxi. The journey isn't too far and the roads are very good. Allow approx 30 mins journey time.
