Southwest Posted August 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2006 Some cruise lines let you get money from the casino and charge it to your room account for no addition fee, while others charge you a cash advance type of fee. It has been several years since we have been on a Princess ship and I have lost track of whether Princess lets you get cash in this way without the additional fee or not. Anyone who has recently been on the Tahitian Princess (or is going soon), can you let me know about this? It makes it a bit easier knowing ahead of time if I need to bring the additional cash I may want for gambling or not -- I know they have ATMs on all ships, but those do have a fee, so I'm specifically asking about getting cash from the casino cage that is charged to you on-board account. Toto2Kansas Posted August 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2006 All Princess ships charge you a 3% service fee when getting cash in the casino.
Southwest Posted August 7, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted August 7, 2006 OK, thanks for the info. We'll be sure to take extra traveler's checks and cash instead of using the casino as our bank. Appreciate your help.
