4cruising Posted August 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2006 I was researching the boards looking for a private tour operator for Barbados. We are a group of 6. I saw a thread with info regarding Livingstone Griffith. I noticed that people had requested his email info, but I didn't see much feedback regarding his tour. Has anyone booked with him, and if so what was your experience? Thanks.
baffles Posted August 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2006 We have used Livingston 2-3 times. He has always been a great tour person. You can pick your spots, or he can suggest ones. We always are just myself and my wife, but the Pathfinder can hold more. baffles:D
judyzoo Posted August 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2006 Baffles (or anyone else), Is there some advantage to using Livingstone over just hiring a taxi for a few hours when we get off the ship?
baffles Posted August 19, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Judy. I try and use someone I've heard about before. You can grab a taxi, but your not really sure what your getting. That's how we've found drivers for other islands also............. baffles:D
delgadofam2002 Posted August 24, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2006 Hi Baffles, Can you please email me LG's info I will be in Barbados at the end of the year on the Sun Princess. He sounds like the way to go for my family. With our grandmother & kids we will be 6. Way too costly for a ship tour. Thanks, Carolyn delgadofam2002@BELLSOUTH.NET
RAFink1 Posted September 22, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2006 Just back from Barbados. Livingstone gave us a private tour of the island according to our interests and his experience (25 years). This was last Saturday, Sept. 16. He knows the island and it's history including a comment on each attraction. We considered it the highlight of our visit. He knows the good restaurants serving inexpensive Bajan food. Don't worry about paying for his lunch, he brings his own. Places he took us: Holetown and the platinum coast Gun hill signal station Orchid World Wildlife Reserve East coast Most of the parishes Crane beach Cost: $30 US per hour. You decide what you want to see. He is the best.
