Thinking of planning a Spring break 07 cruise and ?s.

We just booked our first cruise for next month and it will be a family cruise with our 4 children. My husband and I really need to get away and we thought about booking a Spring break cruise next year and was wondering will the rates only get worse as the days go by OR will they stay what they are now for a few more months? I just called Carnival and RC tonight for the same cruise and they both told me about the same price for the Sensation or the Sovereign of the Seas. If you had to choose which one would you go with and would you book ASAP?:)

Update** Well I booked it :D , fast huh! Hubby is sleeping so he has no idea, LOL! It will be a great surprise to him! I ended up going with RC since they saved me 140$.

 

YIKES I can see the booking cruises can be addicting :o

I think you were probably right to book early. We have always cruised during our spring break (first or second week of March), and the only time we have seen a price drop was the first time, early in 2002, when travel was still feeling the effects of 9/11. Our spring break cruises always seem to be sold out.
