St.Love Posted August 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2006 I'm going to take the Sovereign Of The Seas next year and I was wondering if anyone can tell me how they liked it? :D
suezyq50 Posted August 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2006 We have booked our second on her. You will find reading here, most really like cruising on her. The cabins are small, but that's ok. We like to idea we can drive and not have to fly.

Kudos2Fly Posted August 17, 2006 #7 Share Posted August 17, 2006 We are passing on formal night this time. Do you think we could eat at Johnny Rockets during that time? That is with out a wait or a long one? Kim
RM Posted August 17, 2006 #8 Share Posted August 17, 2006 You should have no problem going to Johnny Rockets. We have sailed on the SOS many times and love her. Great weekend getaway. We'll be aboard again tomorrow.
SharkCruiser24 Posted August 17, 2006 #9 Share Posted August 17, 2006 I wrote a very long and detailed review on Sovereign of the Seas, I was on the ship last November and had a marvolous time!
wolfcathorse Posted August 17, 2006 #10 Share Posted August 17, 2006 Loved her. This is the friendliest ship IMHO. CocoCay is fun but I'd avoid shopping in Nassau. Just beach hop there or get the $25 taxi tour of the town, it was good.
LenaDaLlama Posted August 17, 2006 #11 Share Posted August 17, 2006 Can't wait to sail the Sovereign again...:)
cruiseapril Posted August 17, 2006 #12 Share Posted August 17, 2006 We were on the Sovereign in April. Had a great time. Had read mixed reviews but found it to be a very good cruise, good food, good service, nicely refurbished ship. Ports were alot of fun. Do something fun in Nassau, away from the pier area- that area is not representative of the fun choices in Nassau.
HHFamily Posted August 17, 2006 #13 Share Posted August 17, 2006 We absolutely LOVED this ship when we were on her last summer and are booked on her again next summer. I have read here that she now has a new captain and cruise director so it will be interesting to see what, if any, differences there are in the service. When we were in her before the service way beyond exceptional. Have a fantastic cruise!
