Car rental at departure on POH

Looking to rent a car at the end of the cruise on POH. Are there any car rental places near the pier or shuttles available? We were able to book a car on the Star when we were on her a few years ago. Any info would be helpful.

i saw some shuttles just across the street in the little park after you leave the terminal building

A number of companies provide shuttles. I noticed at least four shuttles waiting at the pier.

We used Thrifty. The shuttle was waiting for us and they are located by the airport. We kept our luggage in the car and we drove to the airport later in the day for our flight. Thrifty then shuttled us over to the airport.

Just make sure you have a reservation. I heard the shuttle drivers talking about how they were sold out of cars.

We rented from Hertz all over, and in most ports they do ask you for reservations before you board their shuttle. But yes, there are shuttles that pick up right at Aloha Tower where the boat docks.
