Chop's/Portofino's Wine Lists

Can anyone tell me if the wine list is different in Chop's/Portofino's than the dining room?

When I was on the Valor last year, they had a more upscale wine list in the specialty dining room.

On both Radiance and Serenade, the wine list in Chops and Portofinos was better. Don't ask me specifics because it has been 18 months since our last cruise on a ship with the specialty restaurants. The wine list is only one of the many reasons we enjoy those restaurants.

The wine list is different, but still weak.

At least on the Enchantment last week.

The servers were also not very well informed about the selections.

The best Cabernet was a Robert Mondavi reserve.

Yes, the wine list is better. We ordered an additional bottle of wine and had it sent to the dining room for the next night! The server put the cork back in and labeled it for us with our table number. The next night we mentioned it to our server and we enjoyed it. I am thinking it was Conundrum. (sp)
