Michael,

sorry, I´writing off topic.

We are affected by the shortened cruise of Infinity in July.

I saw, you had this problem in May 2005 on Summit.

When did you actually get your voucher for your compensation?

We have not heard anything by Celebrity so far.

Herzliche Gruesse

Hi Peter,

I got my voucher about 4 weeks after the cruise if I remember right. I called Celebrity Frankfurt and asked for it along with the compensation for the flight and overnight arangements in Vancouver. The Voucher arrived shortly but it took month to get the money from them for the overnight stay. It took me 4 or 5 telephone calls with their german office. I used the voucher for my TA Millenium this April with no problems.

Ebenso herzliche Grüße aus Ulm

Danke Michael,

for your information.

So, I will wait and see what will happen.

We got $ 700 as onboard credit ( not used amount was refunded to the credit card) and $ 300 pp. for a future cruise. We hope, we can use it for our Australia Cruise on Mercury in December 2007.

I´ve been told that I cannot use it on RCI´s Voyager in October.

Just a guess. I would think that would be something they did not want to advertise.
:) Good morning,

You could not have seen the whale from the bridge webcam anyways....

The only odd thing about the webcam's recent freeze-up was that it occured at 1718Alaska time Friday 18 June....while SUMMIT was sailing away from Yukatat Bay where she visited Hubbard Glacier earlier that morning, and was about 8 sailing hours away from the docks at Seward.

That '' time window'' is also when it is presumed the subject whale ended up on the bow....

All's well now; the bride webcam is alive and showing SUMMIT in Vancouver.

Cheers

CG
