John & Kelly Posted August 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2006 We are looking at taking the Crown 3/17/07 S Caribbean cruise. On the Grand and Golden we had Baja balconies and on our 2 cruises on the Star we had balconies on the Lido deck which we LOVED! The bottom line here is which balconies on the Crown are completely covered like Lido on the Star??? Thanks for any info you can provide. jas7903 Posted August 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2006 hi, we were on the Crown on July 29th, we were on the Aloha deck and that looked down on the balcony below us, and the one below that looked down on the one below that, we were completely covered as was the one above us, I'm not sure what the name of the deck was but we were on the 12th deck, so the one above us was the 14th. Hope this helps. These were the only two decks as far as I know that were covered. Judy
FrankCar Posted August 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2006 Also the balconies on the Caribe Deck a quite a bit larger than similar cabins on the other decks. They are partially covered. The back half has an overhang; the front is open.
Steven_&_Daniel Posted August 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2006 I believe the Crown balconies are the same as the other Grand Class ships... http://community.webshots.com/photo/552216696/2176491300075564541FgOPpN
