Trop Storm Ernesto

Travel Magic

Recommended Posts

CNN just advised that Ernesto may hit the US (east coast) as a hurricane.

Since the Crown Princess is due back in Brooklyn on Sunday morning, does anyone know when Princess may make changes to the schedule for the current or upcoming cruise.

I contacted Princess and even the Captain's Circle, but they were no help at all.

Thank you.

not sure if/when Princess will make changes. However, there is a lot that can happen between now and Sunday. At the moment, TS force winds extend out 85 miles from the center...the Captain could simply adjust course to take one a bit further out to sea than usual. (On our voyage, the ship sailed pretty far out to sea on the southbound leg, and hugged the coastline coming back north from Port Canaveral) The forecast has it moved pretty well inland by Friday morning, so while the seas will probably be higher than usual (ours were pretty smooth!), there should be little need for itinerary changes.

Good luck!
