Rare lv2cruisgrl Posted September 13, 2006 #26 Share Posted September 13, 2006 I chose Liberty of the Seas, as I am excited to see another Freedom class come out... now if Celebrity's Solstice in 08 was an option, that would be my very first choice as I cannot wait to see that! I agree, we're doing Freedom next Month and have Liberty booked for next Oct, I hope the Celebrity ships are going to be something better than what they have.:)
FrankCar Posted September 13, 2006 #27 Share Posted September 13, 2006 I voted for Royal Princess. We have sailed on several 3000+ ships recently and have really enjoyed them, but... We are looking for a smaller, more intimate cruise, and the luxury lines, while very enticing, are really $$$$$. So a smaller ship doing Europe is very interesting right now. Firefighterhoop Posted September 13, 2006 #28 Share Posted September 13, 2006 Liberty of the Seas here! I like the 2nd in a line, they usually change the minor hiccups of the first ship! Will be on the Innagural voyage the day after I graduate from My long time coming degree!

Jana Posted September 14, 2006 #34 Share Posted September 14, 2006 ICRE1629, where are you located? I need some waxing done around here... Shoreguy, I'm jealous! You'll be beating me by a couple of weeks (I'm on the preview on December 16th, after you've left). She'll be nicely broken in by then, no doubt. Doug, GMTA. susancruzs Posted September 15, 2006 #35 Share Posted September 15, 2006 I voted for the Royal Princess, of course! None of the new ships appeal to me, RCI way too big and Carnival public areas really suffer due to cramming so many cabins onboard, no thank you. Can't wait for my B2B in the Med on the Royal, 24 days, woohoo!
cruzbums Posted September 16, 2006 #36 Share Posted September 16, 2006 I am looking forward to the Pearl as we are booked on it for July, 2007.
dalwhitt Posted September 16, 2006 #37 Share Posted September 16, 2006 Carnival Freedom ... because that's the only one of the new ships that I'm sailing on next year.
ahmo2010 Posted September 16, 2006 #38 Share Posted September 16, 2006 I chose Queen Victoria because all of the other ships have another ship almost exactly like it. And also I was looking at some pictures of the QV and it looked like a beautiful ship. Past Cruises: 11/00- Grand Princess (Eastern Caribbean) 11/04- Star Princess (Western Caribbean) 6/05- NCL Dream (Alaska) 12/06- Carnival Destiny (Mexican Riviera)
katisdale Posted September 17, 2006 #39 Share Posted September 17, 2006 I chose the Royal Princess due to her size and great Holy Land itinerary. We have reservations for 11/07.
jonikal Posted September 17, 2006 #40 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Royal Princess, definitely. We're booked on her Med.Mosaic to N.Africa for next October and are definitely looking forward to experiencing a smaller ship. Does anyone have any idea how much smaller the cabins are in comparison to the larger Princess ships, i.e. Golden, Diamond, etc.?

Kindlychap Posted September 18, 2006 #42 Share Posted September 18, 2006 I choose the Queen Victoria, will give curnard 3 queens. Only wish she was built in england where she should be built. None of the preceding real Queens has been built in England. The Queen Mary 2 was not even built in Britain.
wannabeamerican97 Posted September 20, 2006 #43 Share Posted September 20, 2006 None of the preceding real Queens has been built in England. The Queen Mary 2 was not even built in Britain. I know that,,its a shame that a great country like Great Britain can't even build its own cruise ships and we have to have them built in Finland and Germany. Makes me ashamed to be british. Next thing will be that the Royal Navy will have to build ships by european countries, because its cheaper to build ships abroad than at home.
