Mercury 1148 Penthouse deck

Can anyone tell me about room 1148 on Penthouse deck on the Mercury? Any surprise pillars, any strange configurations, any noises, any smells?

It was a fabulous location for an inside (really close to an outside door and we could scoot up or down the stairs to the pools, etc... or just sit outside on deck chairs and watch where we had been). No walking down a rabbit warren of hallways.

 

The room itself had a weird pillar up by the head of the bed (left side)which meant the bed was off-center (close to the right wall) and the night-table oddly accessed.
