Ya Ya Cruiser Posted September 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2006 Are there any differences between Baja and Caribe decks on Coral Princess? On the Grand the Caribe deck balconies are larger, just wondered if the same applied to Coral. Also on Coral there seems to be an area that juts out from the ship on the upper decks - does anyone know if these balcony cabins have any advantages over the regular ones? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! YaYa
sarahuk Posted September 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2006 Hi We stayed in a balcony cabin on Caribe and yes the balcony is much larger then the other decks. Baja balconys had a lot of shade as the roof above juts out over them so they were also private. We loved our balcony as the first half was in the shade and private whilst the bit nearest the sea was in the sun although it was overlooked from above, but that did not bother us. The only other balconys the same size as ours were the mini suites and above

Ya Ya Cruiser Posted September 19, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted September 19, 2006 Many thanks to both of you for your responses. Tom - that's an amazing bit of work you have done - very kind of you to share, it really clarifies things. We have Aloha 506 through 512 and Baja 506 through 514 booked for our group and judging from the information you have provided those should be fine. You are correct in your statement regarding the availability of this info through the cruise lines - no one provided it as clearly as you did. These cruise critic boards are the best!
