All the ladies in matching dresses...ever done it?

On more than one cruise in the past, we have seen several parties where all the ladies in one group wore the same colour of dresses on one of the formal nights. Once we saw that one group of women all wearing red dresses even got an after dinner cocktail in the red loving cup glasses. It looked like alot of fun.

 

We are travelling on the Mariner in February and there will be 5 couples. The ladies are thinking about trying to pick a colour that works for all of us to wear on one of the formal nights.

 

Anybody ever done this??

If you all think it will be fun, then you should do it. To me, it would look like you're a bunch of bridesmaids.

I've never done this, nor would I ever want to. However, if your friends think this would be fun, then by all means, have a blast.

PS Black and white are the easiest colors to match!

My daughter and 5 of her girlfriends did this on a recent all-girls cruise. They all wore a "little black dress" on the same night. Then they had portraits done of the whole group and it looked awesome. Of course, it was 6 beautiful, tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed, 23-year-old cuties and they would have looked good in potato sacks! If I dressed alike with 5 of my friends it would look like the reunion of the Golden Girls! :eek:

On my first cruise..14 years ago, I was a single and went with 3 couples..the guys all had tuxes and the girls were all in black/white...it is still one of my favorite cruise photos.

Yes, I did this. I was 4 years old and in a dance recital.

I don't know that I would do this anymore (I am 25)... but, you know if you and the other guests think it sounds fun then go for it! It's all about you guys having a good time anyway!!
