CruisingYiayia Posted September 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2006 We were on the Explorer last week and now I am hooked on BBCs. Anyone have a recipe?? There is one in the new RCCL cookbook, but I didn't buy it.

daveky Posted September 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2006 Yep, BBC is the first thing I order as soon as I hit the first bar before sailing and me and my better half make a toast to the week to come. Dave

Chuggiebug Posted September 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2006 This sounds really good. Waht does BBC stand for, or do I want to know? We cruise the Mariner starting this Sunday and I think that I will try one.

OPSoccermom Posted September 23, 2006 #7 Share Posted September 23, 2006 Got the recipe from our bartender on Serenade this year.... RCI does not use the standard recipe that contains a real banana. They just use two Island Oasis frozen drink mixes - Pina Colada and Banana Dacquiri - along with the Baileys and add dark rum if you request it. We made arrangements with a local club to purchase some Island Oasis from them (you cannot buy it at retail). We also bought a Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker (basically your own personal size Island Oasis machine). Now we have cruise quality BBCs whenever we want! Leeser416 Posted September 23, 2006 #8 Share Posted September 23, 2006 Thank you so much!!! This is my husbands absolute favorite. He wants to go on cruises just to have BBCs.
