LKN-NC Posted September 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2006 The St Petersburg Ballet Company does private performances for the cruise lines, this is probably what you will get if you sign up for the cruise's tour. The night we went, the guests were from Jewel of the Seas and Star Princess. It was very good, costumes and scenery were awesome. The ballet was Swan Lake, I dont know if the selected show varies or not. The tour price, $65 was reasonable. Many guests dressed up for a very elegant night. dakrewser Posted September 29, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2006 You can find listings for all of the St. Petersburg Operas & Ballets on line at the "ballet & opera" web site - but be warned that the lineup can change at any time. If you're booked with one of the private tour agencies, see if they will take your preferences then make the purchase of tickets as late as possible. That's what we did with Alla Tours last summer and it worked great as we saw a fantastic performance at the Mariinski (formerly the Kirov).
