Differences in cabin set-up

Let's take an OV on the Main deck for example...

When looking at the deck plans, the legend states that a star means that it has a twin bed/king and convertible sofa; a square means that it has a twin bed/king, convertible sofa, and an upper; and so on. This may be a dumb question, but what comes in the "blank" rooms when there is no star/square/triangle, etc... noted. I am sure that they are considered standard for that category, but standard "what" exactly?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
