World Cruise 2008

We are seriously going to take a World Cruise in 2008, but would really love some feed back as to which cruise line to go with, and even where to go. We have done Carnival to to Mexico and the Caribbean, and the QE2 Transatlantic crossing, so practically novices as far as cruising goes.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice, good or bad. ;-)

Prinsendam 2005 World Tour... it has begun is a great thread about HAL's 2005 World Cruise on the Prinsendam. The thread has over 90,000 views and 1500 posts. To shorten reading, just read the posts by Grumpy1 or Slinky, the couple who were on the cruise.

Only Crystal Serenity, HAL's Prinsendam, Cunard's QM2 and QE2, and Regent will do world cruises in 2008. You might find that Silversea will do one also, but they don't have their schedules out yet. I've done segments of 4 world cruises and they really are great. I don't think I could do a full world as I feel 105 days is just too long to be away from home.
