Bio-Bay with Children

Hi, I'm interested in doing the bio-bay kayak tour with my husband and two children (ages 9 and 7) this January. Unfortunately, there is a minimum age requirement when booking through Carnival (8 years old). How strictly does Carnival enforce the age requirement? Can anyone recommend a private tour operator?

Please keep in mind your time schedule, its more than a hour drive from the kayak place to the ship...........

I dont know about the others listed by the last post but I know that EcoXcursion does have a minimum age requirement of 6 or older to be able to do the tour.
