pltag Posted July 15, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2004 RCI neither requires or offers any type of players cards.......I wish they did! Only reward will be if you pay your Sea Pass account with your RCI Visa card....this will earn double points (at least it is supposed to).
Cruzor Posted July 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2004 no card. no free drinks. no comps. the casino is a good profit center for RCI. i was lucky though - i won at single deck blackjack! (they didnt have a maximum raise level. ie. i was able to raise my bet as much as i wanted on the second deal of the shuffle).
mpw2002 Posted July 19, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2004 I read this on Cruisemates board 'Gambling and Games'. I posted there to ask for more info. No reply yet. If I get anything furhter I'll post it here. Received my letter from the Royal Caribbean/Celebrity Player's Club. For gamblers who play fairly high stakes, and put in a mininmum of two hours a day playting during the cruise, you can now get rated, and get some very nice perks, as well as earn points (which convert to dollars) to be redeemed on your next cruise
lvcruiser Posted July 19, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2004 Cruzor - what ship were you on? The Legend? I haven't seen a single deck game on any cruise ship yet and I know that on our last cruise on the NOS, there were only six deck shoes, as there has been on every ship on which I have ever sailed. mpw2002 - please keep me posted on what you find about the Player's Club. I have never seen any kind of players club for either table or machine play on any ship. If this is something new for the RCI umbrella, I 'll be very interested since I sail only on RCCL and X and spend a considerable amount of time playing blackjack while onboard. My only problem thus far has been finding a table where all the players know what they're doing.
laurieny Posted July 19, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 19, 2004 We were on the Serenade last week and they had $10 minimum single deck blackjack tables (which is where we got all our winnings!). They also have posters about the new players club but I did not really read the details and it is still pretty new-only been out a few weeks. -Laurie
