Bedding update on Grandeur?

I saw some posts from July that stated the bedding in some of the lower cabins had been upgraded. Does anyone know the status of the upgrade? We have a cat M on 2nd deck for 12/30 departure and am wondering if I need to order egg crate toppers or not. Would RCI know if a particular cabin had the new beds?

We were on the Grandeur in September on deck 7. Saw no mattress' any where on ship (and believe me we were a large party and had people on every sleeping deck of the ship!). Saw new TV's and new carpet being installed. Who knows what December will bring?:rolleyes: You'll enjoy her either way. As for the egg crates, DH and I slept on the sleeper sofa in our D1 with the egg crates and had no problems whatsoever (thank heavens I'm vertically challenged;) ).
