Summit Vancouver to Seaward in Sept

My family is booked on the Summit 8/31/07 - 9/7/07 out of Vancouver to Seaward Alaska. I would like to hear from someone who has taken this cruise at this time of the year. I am concerned about the last portion of this sailing being rough. What can we expect?
