Aquahound Posted November 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2006 I just got my Caribbean Travel & Life magazine. 2007 Readers' Choice Awards, Best Cruise Line: 1. Royal Caribbean 2. NCL 3. Celebrity 4. Princess
vmom Posted November 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2006 I just got my Caribbean Travel & Life magazine. 2007 Readers' Choice Awards, Best Cruise Line: 1. Royal Caribbean 2. NCL 3. Celebrity 4. Princess Unfortunately when an award is presented based on "Reader's choice" it is very dependent on the demographics of the readers. I can go along with RCCL being in the top 3, or even the number one spot, but rating Princess and Celebrity under NCL...I don't think so.
Wilson Posted November 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2006 I just got my Caribbean Travel & Life magazine. 2007 Readers' Choice Awards, Best Cruise Line: 1. Royal Caribbean 2. NCL 3. Celebrity 4. Princess I agree with two things: RCI as #1 and Carnival not even listed.
KillaFee Posted November 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Thanks! I vowed this month NOT to buy CL&T, Conde Nast, Budget Travel, Cruise Travel, Islands, and National Geographic Traveller in the interest in saving $$ for upcoming cruises....and now I'm already being lured back into my sick travel magazine addiction! :D Laura

Arizona Cruz Chic Posted November 7, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Yahooooo! However....# 2 is a huge mistake! No way could NCL with NCLA ships be # 2...they must have not counted NCLA. :D ***

shoreless Posted November 11, 2006 #10 Share Posted November 11, 2006 Yahooooo! However....# 2 is a huge mistake! No way could NCL with NCLA ships be # 2...they must have not counted NCLA. :D *** Maybe since it's a Caribbean Travel magazine, it only included the cruises in that area (i.e., no NCLA). JKHawaii Posted November 11, 2006 #11 Share Posted November 11, 2006 Gee, I just got my Conde Naste magazine. Royal Caribbean was rated far behind Celebrity, Disney, Holland America, and even Princess. I think Crystal Cruises was rated #1. There were 10 cruise lines listed..............NCL and Carnival were not on the list.
BobBeaSea Posted November 11, 2006 #12 Share Posted November 11, 2006 RCI is at best a middle of the road mass market cruise line. To pretend it is anything else is wishfull thinking. There was a time though.....
